Cable connect smartphone to Mavic Remote Controller

Hi all,

Just a question whether what type of cable should be used when you connect your smartphone to the Mavic Remote Controller?

1) Does USB 2.0 or 3.1 determine the Remote Controller Signal?
2) Does the connection of microUSB and USB from the connecting port affects the signal?

Besides, I am using USB type c for my smartphone.

As long as you use a high quality cable you will be fine. I do not believe USB2 or USB3 makes a difference but I could be wrong.

Thanks for the info. I bought the best cable with fast charging to try out as my previous connection is with microUSB on one end and type c to my smartphone.

This time round, I want to try out the USB connection instead and see if there is any difference on the remote controller signal when flying over the same area.

usb connection is the smarter way.

"controller signal" has nothing to do with the way the phone is connected to the remote. As long as the cable works anything will be identical regardless of port or anything else.

Not sure also, trying to find the root of the problem.

It could be the polarpro phone mount as the phone is mounted just above the remote controller antenna so it might be the cause of the weak signal transmission for the remote controller too.

Anybody using the polarpro phone mount here?
