Cable to phone - make sure it’s properly connected!

I’m new to flying and recently got a MPP.

First few flights were perfect.

Then lots of the problems I read about here; imu error, interference then loss of GPS and phone connection.

I’m pretty sure this was all because my IPhone 8 Plus wasn’t plugged in properly (the plug doesn't go fully in when placing phone in the holders).

Last few flights have been perfect

I gave up on that method and use a USB to lightning connector out of the bottom port on the RC. Then got a PolarPro mount for my iPhone X and all is golden. That mount let's me keep the iPhone case on, while the dodgy under the remote clamps did not.

I took the little rectangular bracket out that holds the connector. Since then, I've had a LOT less trouble.
