Hi Guys,

If I switch this off, will my jerky image on my iPad Mini 2 while recording go away? It is only happening while I am recording...

It did for me. Try and you'll find out quick enough if it will help you out. By turning it off you make more resources available to your iPad.

Use a good quality cable in the full size USB outlet.
Make sure nothing else is running preferably by restarting the device.

Tips like msinger's link works really well and there is a difference in those cables like 4wd mentioned, I tried several before finding one that worked better than the others.
