Camera gimbal at landing ??

I've watched a lot of videos and remember MM and maybe some others automatically bring the camera gimbal up level before landing.
Not sure is the MPP does that and I've been too 'busy' to notice. I think there is sufficient clearance even if it was 90 degrees down but knowing is better than wondering. ...... and it's snowing again so asking here :)
 
My MP does not move the gimbal when landing.

Nope - the Gimbal stays pointing where it was when my Mav' Pro Platinum lands ... However, the way the camera swivels, it means that it's still not protruding below the line of the landing gear. It does mean that it doesn't matter if you use a landing pad, but I'd want to make sure my camera was level if I was landing on bare ground.

That's what I thought, thanks. I've been landing on a piece of cardboard to ensure clearance.

Must have seen that on the Mini and Air videos - Too many versions info bouncing around
