Camera hair

Hi all. Just got my mavic pro and I'm having a problem with the camera. While videoing it looks like a hair waving in the bottom left part of the video. Looked at the lens and it looks clear Looked on the forums and looks like it might the the sun hitting the props. But it's there with the camera pointing down as well. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

It is recommended. Causes wierd glare and “ hair”. It will be fine

Thanks will try it tomorrow. I thought it was supposed to be on the protect from wind and dust and stuff in the air.

I leave mine on for just flying for a little protection but if pictures or video is the reason for the flight. Remove the cover! It also cools better the fan sucks air in from behind the camera.

If you worry about protecting the camera, there are replacement lens hood/sun shields that provide protection from things hitting the camera while leaving unobstructed views for the camera. Here's a link to one option. there are many more out there

After removing the gimbal hood everthing is fine. Thanks for all the help
