Can’t connect controller to mavic air

Hi folks. Frustrating day yesterday. I did a 100 mile round trip in the car and a 6 mile walk to fly around some unusual rock formation and guess what when I got into position the Rc won’t connect to mavic air 1. My phone connects ok so I guess the problem is not the MA. I’ve tried binding but timed out. Controller constantly beeps and shows a red light. Ive used Dji assistant for the controller and refreshed the software. That made no difference. Dji assistant won’t let me do a factory reset on the controller and won’t let me get the log info. Any ideas.

I had the same today with my DJI Mavic Mini. Turned out the AC had an issue with the SD card. Taking it out solved the problem, putting it back, no connection again. Formatting it again (exFAT) and putting it back solved the issue completely. Might be worth a try for yours.
