So I got a message to calibrate the vision system. Up until now I have never needed to connect to the Assistant. I downloaded the latest version from the website and followed the instructions on a DJI video I found. I connect the drone to the computer and the computer detects it, but the Assistant does not. I just see the same picture of the USB going to the computer.

Anyone else had this issue?

Likely due to a degree of Apple centricity by DJI. On a Mac you can force the system to open the file with a single click.

It looked like that but not the same screen. There was a pop up that came up in the app that I didn’t notice. I missed it after scanning. Good to go.

Wow. So I guess if I ever travel with this thing, I better have a computer with me in case I have to calibrate the vision system. What else do I need this application for other than if my aircraft flies away or crashes and I need the data?

Firmware updates that fail to complete using the DJIGO4 app can be carried out using DJI Assistant 2.

Good that you found the popup and were able to proceed.
