I took my drone out today but when I unpacked it, the camera doesn't seem to be sitting correctly.

It seems to be hanging on by one thin cable instead of sitting correctly

I have had a look to see if it is supposed to clip in somewhere

That is definitely detached from the support. It should look like this:

Here's a closeup of the two base screws attaching the gimbal column.

Looks like to me that the two screws that attach the gimbal to the vibration plate have fallen out..
Replace them and u should be good
