Can I upgrade to Air3S and use my Air3 RC2 fly more combo (rc2 and batteries)?

I use an Air 3 for my home inspection business. I'm interested in buying an air 3s as an upgrade and to keep my air 3 as a spare. Can I pair a new air 3s to my current RC2 controller? Can I use my air3 batteries in it? I know they have a little less capacity, but if they work, that's all I need. I don't fly for more than 10 mins at a time.

I use my RC2 with my A3S with no issues. I’m not sure about the batteries being interchangeable.

Youtube says the batteries are interchangeable too. That's great news.

Most, if not all, DJI interim S drone models are usually compatible with original controllers and batteries. The tweaks are usually to the cameras.

Yes. I have both and they are interchangeable
