Can Image Quality Be Controlled for HyperLapse Videos at the Time of Capture

Is it possible to make some setting adjustments to the image quality of the video that is made from the still photos that are captured and used in a Hyperlapse video? Namely the contrast? The original stills are captured in RAW, thus I could pull them into LR or similar editor and make adjustments. But is there anyway to control how the DJI software renders a hyperlapse video?

You could try the Style settings. Under the Camera Settings menu, select Style, then one of the styles (Standard, Vivid, etc.), or select CUSTOM and change the Contrast (the middle number of the three with the circle at the top). That affects both pictures and videos (a peeve of mine, that there are not separate style settings that are independent for video and still photos, so be sure to change this back after you're done, or all of your normal photos will have that setting).

However, I'm not sure that it applies to the video created internally by a hyperlapse flight mode. You could test it by selecting the CUSTOM style and setting it to something very extreme (perhaps crank up/down the 3rd setting, which is Color Saturation) and see if that affects the resulting video.

Or maybe someone will speak up here that has done this test (or knows for sure otherwise).

Good idea, thanks for helping out!

I have a related question. Does hyperlapse run in photo or video mode? I would assume it would be video mode but you never know

You can have GO4 app save out the dmg files to create your own Hyperlapse but the GO4 app does create a MP4 file of the Hyperlapse capture.
