The INCLUDED membership is strictly for Recreational Flying but they do offer (and I have) AMA Part 107 operations.

Would it be possible to upgrade an existing recreational AMA membership to a commercial-type AMA membership and pay the difference?

Compared to other similar options is was a good bit less TBH
No you can't Upgrade from recreational to commercial. You have to be a member which gives you recreational but then you ADD Commercial Operations as a stand alone package.
