ok, but! if you did a IMU calibration where he took off, wouldn't it come up with Magnetic interference there?

I launched my drone with with no errors and the IMU was working properly. I don't think I need to recalibrate it though, maybe I should start recalibrating it before flying.

im not doubting that it was working, but in light of the situation i was wondering HAD you done a calibration, would it pick it up?

I for one, do not calibrate all the time. Seeing posts like this make me think i should be doing it before any flight times. for the small amount of time it takes...*shrugs*
