I have not flown my DJI Mavic Air 2 for some time. I was working through bringing everything ready to fly tomorrow, but when I tapped the DJI Fly icon on my phone, I got a message: "the app has a bug, clear cache to see if it clears"? I cleared the cache, tapped the icon once again, and the DJI fly screen flashes open and immediately closes? I went to the app store to see if there was an update for it, and I can't even find the app anymore? Has this app been deactivated, changed, renamed, etc.? Can anyone help me to figure out what I might need to do to be able to fly again, or am I just SOL now? Thanks in advance!!

I think I may have found my answer after doing a different search........I'll see if it works?
Well??? I was able to download it to my phone, but not my tablet? This really doesn't do me much good as the phone is too small to see when flying (hence the use of the tablet). Has anyone out there found a way to download dji fly to a tablet? Got my fingers crossed......

You get the app direct from DJI these days.
You'll find it here:

Thanks Meta4, Yes, I visited the DL center, but it appears that one can only download the app to phones, and NOT tablets? Even though I have a rather large cell phone, it is still too small to see much when flying, ergo, the need for the tablet...
I tried a 3rd party fly app, but so far, I can't get it to connect my controller and the drone itself? Still trying

I don't get it....I tried one more time, after at least a dozen others, to DL the fly app, and somehow, some way, it worked and I WAS able to DL it to my tablet???? Thanks again M4, I'm really glad it worked out this time!!

I think the reason I may have been having a problem was I had to change a "permission" in my tablet settings to "allow" my tablet to complete the download from that source.

I am not at all technical but I have Fly on my iPad Air 5th Gen and although I haven’t flown with my iPad for a while it did work for me a few months ago. Is your Phone too small really? At my advanced years, with driving glasses on I find I have no problem. Probably no help sorry.

I did finally get it to download on my Samsung (android) tablet. It seems androids have temperaments or attitudes as opposed to apples? As I mentioned, I believe my problem was in the tablet settings, and giving permission to download from the dji site? I strictly fly over vast wooded areas looking for tiny things on the ground, so the larger the screen the better. For instance, I once found a herd of elk and got some excellent videos of them, but did not even know that there were a couple of bulls in the herd until I got home and viewed the videos on my laptop! I never get very close to critters. If I detect that they are aware of my drone, I pull back. I also used to have a horrible time with screen glare...the bright sky reflecting off the screen into my eyes prohibited me from seeing any thing at all. I was able to overcome this issue via the help of another flier on here that showed his "umbrella hat" it perfectly shades the screen from ALL sky reflections. It sure looks goofy, but it works perfectly! Thanks for you advice!!
