Can we hack the Mavic controller?

How can we be sure that hacking the Mavic is our holy grail? Could it be possible to hack the controller instead?

Because you can fly the Mavic without the controller and the same limitations apply. It's in the firmware... that is just a fact.

Maybe someone / someday develop another firmware for DJI drones.. like Betaflight is an alternative to Cleanflight for racer drones.
