As seen in this video this pilot is clearly flying bvlos and I’m assuming he got a waiver to do it. Can recreational pilots do this also? Is there an age requirement for this?

If you're flying as a Recreational Operator under ~44809 there's no way to get a Waiver under Part 107. One isn't connected to the other.

~44809 has NO options for any type of waivers or additional "Exceptions" what so ever. If you fly outside of ~44809 you are no longer compliant what so ever.

Let's just say: Many people fly illegally and post videos on YouTube. Just because you have seen it on YouTube, doesn't mean it's legal.
The YouTube video I posted is an example of someone who had a 107 and was wondering if he had a waiver.

Wait... the question was about a Recreational Pilot getting a waiver . . .

Regardless, the flight in the video was NOT within any FAA Regulations.
