Can you legally fly across state lines

I live in an area a couple hundred yards away from the state line. It never occurred to me while flying that it was even there but someone suggested to me there could be issues flying across state lines. Does anyone know if this is a problem?

Yes, unless that part of the state line has some sort of ordinance against flying drones. But check local laws first.

I'd worry about flying into Canada or Mexico, but Wisconsin? Nah! (closest neighbor state to me)
