I recently bought a Mini 4 Pro with the RC2 controller. I did the setup and everything went OK. Did some flying and it worked fine. But when I tried to download maps, all I got was a blank screen with that circling thing in the middle suggesting it was waiting for something. But even though I waited for ages, nothing changed. Then I went to the DJI store and the forum, in the same menu, and for both it said I wasn't connected to the Internet. But when I checked the WiFi in Profile, it said I was: it gave the network name plus this signal strength (which was 5).
I went to a supermarket to see if a different WiFi network would make a difference, but got the same result: it said I was connected but when I went to DJI Store and DJI Forum it said I wasn't. Tried a third WiFi network with the same result. I did notice that no matter what micro SD card I put into the controller, it said 'card not supported' and instructed me to try a faster one, even when I tried the Sandisk Extreme Pro. So this might indicate there was something wrong with the controller. The Controller must have originally connected to the network otherwise I'd never have been able to do the setup, but that same WiFi doesn't work when I try to download maps or go to the DJI Store or Forum.
Finally, I returned the drone and got a refund - I thought it best to do this while I could, in case there was a fault that might damage the drone and make this impossible. I'm thinking of trying again with another Mini 4 Pro, but keep wondering if this will happen again.
So here's my question: can anyone here think of something I could have been doing wrong when it came to connecting my controller to the Internet? Thanks.
