Cant change 2.4 to 5.8

Trying to change my M2P from 2.4 to 5.8. It says on my screen that I have to re-link my controller to get 5.8. I have re-linked several times and it still does not allow me to switch channels. I live in USA.
How can I get both channels?

Have you tried refreshing the firmware with the DJI Assistant app?

Yes, did a refresh, no luck. All firmware up to date. Just can’t figure this one out. Any help appreciated.

Have you updated the controller as well?

I will check all the updates and refresh them again to see if that works.
