Has anyone else had this problem?Yesterday I had time to fly my Mini 2. I couldn't connect my phone to the fly app. The message that i received was " the is a bug in the app". I un-installed the app from my Samsung Galaxy 23 that I had used with the mini 2. I shut off my phone, then restarted it. I tried to download the app and it would download started and never finish the download. I checked my download folder and nothing was there. Can anyone help me get connected?

Had exactly the same problem with both the FLY app and GO4. Tried downloading direct from DJI and the same result that you experienced.

Have you updated the drone and controller firmware in the last week or so? If you have, the following may not work.

Head to APKMIRROR and search "DJI FLY". Choose one of the earlier versions and download it to the device you use as the flight screen. Make sure you have 'install from unknown sources' switched on and install the flight app.

Sometimes downgrading FLY or GO4 is the best option... newer does not necessarily mean better.

You most likely had an update on the phone that is now conflicting with the DJI Fly App

With regards to the app mirror, you my have to uninstall the current app from the screen device BEFORE you can install the older version.

Yes I deleted the old app. I haven't flown the mini 2 in 2 months, so no updates. No my phone won't download the app with a message saying "there was a problem parsing the package". I shut off my phone each time after I delete the app, so that app is gone. I am not sure what is going on now with that message.

My suspicion is that your phone is, for wherever reason, no longer compatible with the app.

Taking that to be true my suggestion is that you buy, second hand, or resurrect, an older model compatible phone and use that with the drone. It does not need a sim card.
It may not be the so!ution you seek but it may save you a lot of hair pulling.

About two weeks ago, I tried launching the FLY app... and it didn't. Three or four tries: still nothing, so I hooked a Mavic out and tried the GO4 app. Exactly the same.

Tracked the problem down to the most likely cause - the tablet installing the latest firmware and security updates which for some reason decided to cripple the DJI software.

After hours of trying everything conceivable, I gave up and factory reset the tablet then downloaded non-current versions of FLY and GO4 and installed them. Both then decided to work like a charm... well... so far: so good - until the next "upgrade" I suppose.

It's a shame that DJI cannot fix this issue, there are a lot of people who cannot use their drone anymore since the last Android update made many LG, Google Pixel, One Plus, Samsung, and many other phones unusable with Go4 and Fly.

Same happen to me on my Samsung S6Lte tablet. After the last dji update, the dji Fly App crashed when trying to load. I un-installed it and then tried to re-install the app and it wouldn't install. Now my Air 2 grounded until dji can fix the issue.

After 2 weeks of trying, loading and unloading, shutting off and on my phone it connected. Flew it for 20 minutes after that. Then I bought the Mini 4 Pro. There shouldn't be any problems matching now.
