Capture RAW + JPEG

Why would it? Why would you even want it to show two versions of each photo?
simply to understand when it is in jpeg, when raw (dji go4 highlights it) but especially when jpeg + raw shot it would have been nice to visualize both

But you set that choice yourself in the settings. If you want to know what it's shooting then looking at the settings is the simplest and most reliable check. Beyond that I'm not even sure what the DJI GO app preview is for. I never use it. And even if you use it, what are you going to learn from the two different images. The raw image isn't going to tell you anything until it's properly post-processed. The JPG will show you what was captured, although only in low resolution since the full-resolution image is not on the mobile device.

You seem to me to be attempting to contrive a problem where this is none.

Yep

I cannot think of any reason to view both raw and jpg on such a small screen if using a mobile.
And if using a 10" or larger tablet, you'd first need it to be more than hd resolution (1920*1080) to barely inspect the photo quality.

Forget looking at preview images.
What you should be looking are unopened files.
If you shoot raw + jpg, you'll get a .dng (raw) and a.jpg for each photo you shoot.
The .dng file can only be opened with serious image manipulating software like Photoshop and it will look flat until you tweak it to get the effect you want.

If you are not interested in manipulating images in Photoshop, don't bother with raw images and simply shoot jpg.
Despite popular predjudice against them, jpg files probably are all most drone flyers need, most of the time.
They are nowhere near as bad as many would tell you.
