As @dirkclod says you can start a "screen recording". I believe it's built into the iphone/ipad iOS as a default app but you have to download one for Android. I suggest also turning on the phone mic to record audio with the screen video. The audio captures all the Fly app voice warning that are missed when flying along with any comments and swear words you add during flight. I'm always amazed at what I see and hear when playing back a flight screen recording. You can always delete them after viewing if you are tight for space.

Ive got where I screen record all my flights as I fly over water
most of the time and have a record if something goes wrong. If it doesn’t I just delete them in photos.
