My friends and I build these little cardboard Electric R.C. planes all the time. They are A blast to fly!!, Cardboard is free, And you can get Full size plans on E bay for a few bucks.
I guess you could turn one into a drone with a little added Electronics I don't posses the know how but it would be fun to try
