Care Refresh is a substantial form of income for DJI. One thought would be to consider the amount of effort that was used to pay for your equipment and whether you want to duplicate that expense by putting it in a position to require some form of repair or replacement.
Personally, I have not provided DJI any funds to add to their CR account and have no plans to do so. By using the grey matter between my ears when operating one of the DJI products that I have is my insurance remedy.
There are many drone operators out there that won’t put a camera in the air without the comfort of knowing someone else will be responsible IF it fails when they purposely put it in a position that greatly increased its chances of failure.
In simple terms, use your head, not your wallet.(and be safe)
