care refresh

Hello, this is my first post, ive been a phantom 3 pilot for a while but we sold it and we bought a mavic for our son this is whats im asking we have bought a mavic morefly combo for our son for a christmas present .We want to get the care refresh but we do not want to open the box as its a christmas present, the shrink wrap is still on the box is it possible to get care refresh when he opens the box on christmas day , we do not want to open the box if at all possible but we have purchased the drone today on the 28th of october 2017...can i purchase the care after 2 months the drone will not be openedtill christmas day

You can purchase DJI Care Refresh on DJI's website here at anytime (even now to use later). You can find the aircraft serial number on the Mavic box.

Make sure you activate DJI Care Refresh on DJI's website here within 48 hours of registering the Mavic in the DJI GO app. If you wait longer than 48 hours, DJI will require you to make a video showing everything is in working order (see more details here).
