Sian Ka'an: In the language of the Mayan peoples who once inhabited this region, Sian Ka'an means 'Origin of the Sky'. Located on the east coast of the Yucatán peninsula, this biosphere reserve contains tropical forests, mangroves and marshes, as well as a large marine section intersected by a barrier reef. It provides a habitat for a remarkably rich flora and a fauna comprising more than 300 species of birds, as well as a large number of the region's characteristic terrestrial vertebrates, which cohabit in the diverse environment formed by its complex hydrological system.
Casa Ninos is a luxury rental property in the middle of the Sian Kaan Reserve close to Tulum Mexico. Miles and Miles of pristine private beach.
A sublime area of natural beauty, Sian Ka'an is home to thousands of species of flora and fauna, which is why the region became a designated Biosphere Reserve in 1986. A year later, Sian Ka'an was declared a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO and it remains the largest protected area in the Mexican Caribbean. Possibly the most astonishing part of the Yucatan peninsula, it is located 2 hours south of Cancun near the small town of Tulum. When you are travelling to the Riviera Maya, especially to Tulum. Tulum has two great attractions, one being the Tulum Ruins and one is the UNESCO World Heritage Site Sian Ka'an, still not very known, but when visiting Tulum or the Riviera Maya, you should not miss to do a tour with Visit Sian Ka'an. There is no place alike anywhere in the Riviera Maya.
Tulum is a charming coastal town that in recent years has become one of the region's most popular tourist resorts. A site of enormous archaeological significance, it is home to a large number of traditional Mayan buildings that have remained intact for up to 1,000 years.
When you're not exploring the Mayan ruins, you should also visit Tulum's world-famous cenotes: a series of crystalline freshwater pools connected by a maze of underground rivers. This astonishing natural phenomenon is unique to the Yucatan Peninsula and there is no place on earth comprising such an extensive system of underground rivers as we find here in the Yucatan Pensinsula. And of course, you can''t visit Tulum without unwinding on one of our white sandy beaches – considered by many to be among the most beautiful in the world.
Right in front of Casa Ninõs Luxury Estate you can see sea turtles laying their eggs, you can also see an array of rare species and stunning sunsets, as well as dolphins and much more. Sian Kaan is often the choice of VIP, actors and celebrities, also because of the privacy of this amazing location. The reef naturally protects, although you can still have fun with waves in the pristine water
