Air 2 Cathedral night shot - fog

I popped out the other night to capture my local cathedral in the fog, at night.
Shooting was tricky- on my phone screen I couldn't see a thing! So I had to compose by taking a test shot, reviewing, adjusting, then trying again.
The end result has been pretty popular with a couple of thousand likes on our local community FB page and my twitter, so I'm quite pleased- it even prints out OK (I ordered a 15x10 copy on lustre paper and it's fine).

It just occurred to me have you ever thought of asking the cathedral authorities if they would like internal shots? It might be a great way of capturing the stained glass windows, at least within the VPS height limits.

Probably worth a suggestion- I have a contact there for a lot of my photography, not thought of inside flying though...

I tried normal photography inside one once, Canon 350D if I remember correctly, but you lose out because of the angles, :-(
