CES for recreational drones?

With the freedom of retirement right around the corner, I am starting to take a deeper look into this hobby. I am aware that for electronic gadget folks there is the CES in Vegas (Consumer Electronics Show) and I know the commercial drone folks have their show/convention.

I am curious if there is something similar for recreational pilots to attend. Is there a show or convention for consumer level drone enthusiasts?

The AMA headquarters in Muncie, IN, USA has an FPV event that brings pilots from around the world to compete.

Here's the page for 2021 and no information about the 2022 event yet.

I'm sure there are vendors but probably for the FPV pilots.

While not really comparable to CES this is a great event if you're interested in the social/active aspect of R/C flying (all forms from planes to helis to multirotors and more).

Flite Fest

Flite Fest is one of the largest radio control events in the world. Featuring electric airplanes, crazy DIY projects, drone racing, live music, great food and even better company.

Also if you want to go just down the road from Asheville to Woodruff SC there is a MUST GO event each year.
