I'm not clear as to whether or not this set up is safe.
I have a 05 accord that I had a power port professionally installed in the trunk. Using 12 gauge wire with a 20 amp fuse connected to the fuse box. Power with ignition on only.
I'm looking to use a 300 watt inverter that i would plug a Dronemax MP18A, and charge 3 batteries, iPad mini 4, and remote.
Dronemax specs are:
Output DC: DC 13.05V/13.8A (Branch output 13.05V/4.6A)
USB output: 5V/2A
I would be letting the car engine idle during charging, and visually monitor the process.
Is this set up safe, risky, or won't work?
I hope I left enough information for a educated response.
Thank you
