I want to share one of my projects that I finished to charge batteries at the field, but also can charge any USB-C/A device including 2 120W port charging.
This DYI power bank using 24 Cells of Samsung 21700 5000 Mah 25C can produce 444 Watts Hour or 120,000 Mah of capacity. Can output 320W combining all ports. Can be charged at 168W by the DC in/out port or 100W by the C1 PD3.0 port.

In other words you can charge a 3 Mavic 3 batteries at full speed 6 times and have some power for spare. All depend if you use the 24 cell configuration but you can do 4/8/16/24 configuration. You can charge your cellphone, cameras or any device.

You need to put tougher the case and install the cells, no soldering require with the kit. however I modified the board to add an BMS Active Balancer in order to balance the pack perfectly and take the most of the batteries promoting longevity for the cell. Is a simple mod that require some welding. Nothing difficult.

How much I pay for everything?
  1. DYI Kit with all modules 21700 100W 120W 120W = $107 + tax + shipping
  2. 24 Samsung 21700 5000Mah 25C $167 + tax + shipping also you can use this option to save money and will work well too for $109 total
  3. 4S BMS Active Balancer 5.5A $23 including shipping and tax.
Here are the pictures of the built. If anyone is interested I can help with configurations. I am not selling, I am just passing the information. You buy the items from AliExpress and Amazon.

impressive

This is a great DIY project! Having a portable power source is a great thing when traveling.

I use 12v systems in a teardrop trailer - it’s great, but no recharging when we wander away from camp. I’m limited to drones with usb and 12v chargers as well (no 110v inverter).

I am working on a DIY inverter bank with a heavy pack of 2.2KH

Thanks for the information, I am going to try this, I need to have a charger in the field, and they are expensive.
