Received MA2 today. Charging each battery, plus remote. Charger really hot. Any reason to be concerned with this?

Not unusual for the charger to be hot while charging: drone batteries need a lot of energy to charge and this generates heat.

a good way to keep the charger and the batteries from being hot during sharging is to run a small desk fan over them to dissipate the heat

it really makes a difference you only need it on low speed ,a lot of multi chargers already have a built in fan to aid cooling

supposedly you can't do the first charge on the charging block. Are you saying that it worked for you?
I never notice any unusual heat with any of my chargers and I do all the batteries and the remote every time? The Air 2 only charges one battery at a time and it's a very slow charge on mine. The Spark charges all three and it stays cool. just sayin..

They use different battery technology, so you’re not comparing ‘apples With apples’
