Mavic Air 2 seems to have USB-C port in the side of the drone. Anyone knows if that can be used to charge the flight battery? Would be great to use laptop USB-C charger for drone when traveling.
That can not be done.Anyone knows if that can be used to charge the flight battery?
It would be nice if you could power the drone whilst doing calibration and IMU checks etc so as not to waste valuable battery time.
You can do it with other DJI chargers! I have the new FPV system and the mavic mini 2 is allowing usb-c charging through the power adapter device. The Mavic air 2 batteries are 11.1 volts. A USB charger cannot achieve the power output to charge the battery. There are a few power banks that will deliver enough power and voltage (12) to do portable charging of all sorts of things. They are expensive but useful if you're stuck with a dead phone or drone.
USB PD supports up to 20V at 5A (comfortably enough for the Air 2 batteries)The Mavic air 2 batteries are 11.1 volts. A USB charger cannot achieve the power output to charge the battery.
