Cheap version goggles that WORK! Spoiler...need HDMI out to use them

You can also use any Virtual reality goggles including the cardboard ones for $2 and insert your phone or device into them and use Litchi or any of a number of FPV apps for the same effect without the need for HDMI. Also if you do it that way you also get headtracking which I assume this method does not. Also is that 1280x720 per eye? If not that seems like way too low a resolution to be useful. The iPhone 8 has a 1334x750 and it’s frustrating low for virtual reality.

One benefit to this is you don’t have to take your device out to change a setting or something because you still have the SC screen.

This is night and day difference from the cardboard stick your phone in goggles, these are as close as you can get to the dji goggles, I dont use my phone, i use smart controller, also a nice feature is I can save battery life on my smart controller by turning the brightness in the display ALL the way down but it does not affect the goggles display, that remains bright.

Great price. Crutchfield still asking $130+
Discontinued item. Very poor warranty. Mediocre Amazon reviews.

Did I mention great price. Should work with my CrystalSky.

When you plug these in does the monitor screen shut off?

I do, i mean your not looking at 4k, but im pretty satisfied with it. I would like to try the dji goggles and see what its like, or even those epson glasses, those interest me...out of my budget right now though.

I’d really like to try the Epson glasses but can’t spend that kind of money before trying them. I really wish you still had a controller screen too though.

No, you still have the view on the screen as well as in the goggles

My wife and I have a little spot on a bay where we like to go and just sit together at times. Well, yesterday we went there and I took my Mavic 2 Zoom and flew around for about 15 minutes. She was amazed. I just ordered these goggles and will give them a try and then put them on her while I fly. I'm sure she'll be really amazed to see what the drone sees. I'll about them after we use them.

CrystalSky video output is only 1080p anyway. I believe the Smart Controller video output is the same but I'm not sure.
