I'm surrounded by 150-160 foot trees here, so I suspect that may be limiting my RC range to around 1/2 mile before I start getting "weak signal" warnings. Is anyone else seeing this?

Are the trees in between the Mavic and remote controller? If so, that will drastically reduce the range.

Yes, well I sure didn't expect mere trees to cause a 89% degradation in signal range.
