I think DoI is grounding the own DJI drones. I doubt they’ll get everyone in US (private individuals and entities) to ground theirs.

I guess you have a choice, buy DJI and risk China spying on you (really, why would they. consumer operated drone..whats the point?) OR you can spend money on an inferior american product and have the risk of China AND the US government spying on you instead.

They have unlimited funds, they'll just buy new ones also made with Chinese parts. As soon as the politics clear up with China, they'll go back to DJI. Again, unlimited funds!

Hands down America!

I don't know. After what I've seen over the last few years, as an American, I would much rather have China spying on me. They have no jurisdiction and can't harm me. The US government, on the other hand, can do just about whatever they want to you, as recent events have proven.

U.S. Department of Interior Grounds DJI Drones I still have my Inspire 1and will keep it but I've had 5 DJI drones and have gotten rid of 4 and I'm buying American made Skydio that will be here in February, Goodbye DJI!
It’s really sad that good people who spent a rather large amount of money on DJI Drones feel that they are somehow now the enemy because there’re made in China. Yes I wish so many more things were made here. My Dad and Grandfather worked for GM and my Dad retired from them. My Grandfather went to work at Argonne National Lab and had a great career as a Government Employee. Point is that Compueter you typed this on and that Computer we all carry in our pockets these days that have become part of everyday life are made in China. They can be bashed all we like but you just can’t escape that fact. If you want an American built and produced Computer they now start at 6000.00 at your local Apple Store. I can’t afford a Mac Pro. I wish you well. I have 2 DJI Drones now and I’ll keep flying them. The rest is just hype and untruth sadly from those trying to make points and somehow bring the Chinese Government to its knees. We pay more now because of it and our farmers here in Iowa are suffering tremendously from it. That sadly is a fact that the people always end up suffering from things our leaders do on our behalf. Chin-up and move forward all!

I think the unit is junk. And I guess the makers do too. They named it that way. Sky dodo = Skydio 2

me thinks the same, sky dodo (Skydio 2) in my opinion.
