Close bird strike

hi all

Was out flying over fields today and got chased my a few blackbirds. Any idea if they are territorial? I was out in the open and the two I spotted were getting closer and closer so did what I’ve read here and ascended and returned to my position.

Mostly in the spring, but yes, blackbirds stakeout a territory for life.

Yep they are. Not sure if they will attack or not. Certainly harass. As do sea gulls.
Here we have magpies. They attack anything including livestock, people and cyclists when nesting. I recon they could take out a drone. Maybe lose a few feathers while they are at it.

I've seen a pair of blackbirds chase away a full-grown hawk, weaving in between trees, shouting loudly, it was like watching a dogfight!
