I had wanted to film a train entering and exiting a tunnel in the Little Liverpool Range between Grandchester and Laidley QLD. Freight trains only use this section of line now and it appears to be no timetable so I was very lucky to 'catch' this one today. I spotted this one a few kilometers away and hurriedly drove to the closest access to the tunnel and set up the mini but It didn't quite work out: the tunnel is in dense vegetation so no view from the air (contrary to the out of date google satellite image) and just as the train emerged from the tunnel my battery was too low to continue and I just managed to get it back before it self landed.
