The MV FLORENCE SPIRIT was involved in a collision in 2020 that caused extensive damage. It was out of service for weeks getting repaired, and has been back sailing on the Great Lakes for some time now.
Earlier this month, my fiancee and I caught it transiting through the Welland Canal at Lock #7, which has a great viewing area and pedestrian walkway next to the canal. We had hoped to see some ships passing through and I was running the future Mrs through some basic piloting training on the Mini 3.
Here is the result of the shots I took on the last battery as MV FLORENCE SPIRIT made its way into the lock.
