Just thought I keep it brief and share my experience with cold weather flying. I have flown in temperatures below 32 F and above 0 F. No problems whatsoever with the drone or the RC unit. (Keep in mind I always stay close.... 200-1000 feet laterally or altitude.)

The limitations for me?

1. iPhone shuts down in the cold, usually within 10 minutes of exposure.
2. Finger tips freeze well past my tolerance.

In that order.

So.... besides flying from inside my car (which I have done and it does work)..... how can I keep my iPhone warm so it doesn't shut down?

My fingertips are a lost cause because gloves prevent effective use of all the controls except the joy sticks themselves. I think sitting my car is the only effective work around to frozen fingers.

If you have A mavic 2 then you can also charge through transmitter, which helps. But heat packs are the best bet.

I really want to see if anyone sells USB heated gloves [emoji1362]
