Air 3 Colorado 14ers

A view east across Dillon Reservoir toward the Front Range of Colorado. At 14,267 feet ASL, snow-capped Torreys Peak appears at far left on the distant horizon. Grays Peak, three feet higher and located just to the right of Torreys, is the highest point on the continental divide in the United States. On July 16, 2010 my two youngest kids and I summited both peaks. There isn't much air to breathe at those elevations, and every upward step is a contemplative exercise, especially for an old geezer like me. I was 69 at the time.
