So, I own and operate a sailboat/whale watching charter business in Oceanside, California. Last week, I was contacted by a movie studio in New York who wanted to charter three of my boats to film a Netflix documentary about Phage Therapy. They want to focus on a well known female university professor who saved her husbands life (also a university professor) who was stricken with a rare (and fatal) bacterial disease. Apparently the wife sought after and ultimately discovered a cure through her research which saved her husbands life. Long story short, the movie studio booked our boats on Feb 16th and along with a filming crew, they will be bringing two commercial drones to document our adventure from the air as well as on the boats. They chose the boats to film part of this documentary because the "husband and wife" professors love boating and the producers want to end the documentary with them on a boat sailing away into the sunset. They will be filming on the boat for 6 hours. I am excited to see the type of drones they will be using as well as the operators skill level when taking off and landing on a floating/moving platform. I know that I have done it a few times but it's scary for sure. My drones are $1500, theirs I am sure will be $$$$$$$ more. I will make sure to take pictures after they complete the shooting and I will post them for you all to see, that is if you are interested of course.

So cool! You should ask for a copy of their footage as a lot will not make it into the documentary.

the i2 can pull that off with no problem. A 6 -10k UAV is not needed any longer.

It would be cool if they showed up with one of these ALTA - Freefly Systems the drone itself is around 20k and it would be nothing to put 30k of camera on it not counting the lens. That being said I bet its something less expensive, especially if its a sailboat. Can you imagine how hard it would be to hand catch a drone on a boat in ocean waves let alone a sailboat with all the rigging. And that's a monster drone too.

Yep - it's like everything. You can always find something better and more expensive than what you are currently happy with. I have invested a lot of money (for me) in stereo equipment but the system I would buy if I won Lotto would cost about half a million dollars.

The goal is to achieve contentment with what you've got and to avoid the constant cravings :-)
