I'm on Siargao island in the Philippines. It's part of Mindanao, the second largest island in the Philippines. There are so many beaches here I can't count them all. We goto a different one every day. There are no general aviation planes here either. The map I post doesn’t show all the beaches. You have to expand Google maps to see them. The snorkeling is disappointing but does exist a little. There are also small islands of the coast, some of which you can fly to. You can also take boat trips. The biggest waves are in October and November. They have a surfing contest in one of those months. You can see from my map that the water gets very deep off the east coast. Our van driver says they're going to expand the airport into an international airport by lengthening the runway. Many foreign tourists, mainly in there 20's and early 30's. They all rent motorcycles and goto the bars at night. Good restaurants. Our favorite is this Thai one. You have to be careful with hotel selection because many don't have TV 's in the room and have slow internet. The roads are pretty good, some brand new asfault.

Had a good day today. I hit a branch once, but the drone righted itself so I didn't have to run down the beach a quarter of a mile to get it. Tons of surfers and hot girls at Cloud 9 today. All three of my kids took their second surfing lesson. The way the waves break here, it's very good for beginners. I find that the DJI RC will only fly 4 batteries before it's depleted. I guess because it has it's own display. My RC-N1 will go a lot longer. I could switch back to it. Unfortunately it rained really hard all of a sudden, and my drone got quite wet. A girl next to me did a hand landing. I told her she was pretty good knowing how to turn it over to turn off the motors. She said she has her own drone.
