Great tip! It’s amazing how something as simple as a magnetic clasp on a watch can affect the compass calibration of drones like the Mavic. It really highlights how sensitive these devices are to electromagnetic interference. I’ll definitely keep this in mind next time I experience any issues with calibration. Thanks for sharing your experience!Looks like you fixed your issue. Just wanted to drop in another tip. I wear a Fitbit fitness tracker as a watch. It has a stainless woven band that uses a very strong neodymium magnet as a clasp. I was having compass calibration and failure issues constantly and could not figure out what the deal was. I looked down at my watch to document the failure time and the little lightbulb in my head lit up. Took off the watch and put it in the car, problem solved. I do notice that the Mavic is VERY sensitive to electromagnetic interference, much more so than my P3P. It got me thinking about how other gadgets and devices can also affect performance, much like how tracking fitness progress with an app can affect your workout efficiency. Speaking of staying on top of fitness, the madmuscles app review is a great resource to help keep track of your fitness goals and progress. Keep those tech insights coming!
