I live fairly close to an airport, so any time I want to fly I have to drive a but to get clear of controlled airspace. I use AirMap to confirm that I'm clear of any prohibited zones, and since I just wanted to make a few quick flights to try some things out I used it to get well clear of the airport and any schools (or so I thought.)

As soon as I fired up the drone, I got a warning that I was in restricted airspace. I shut down, recehecked AirMap, and everything looked fine - I was well clear of any restricted airspace. I fired back up and flew without incident. In hindsight, it was lucky that I flew directly away from what I assume is a flight path for the airport that showed up when I examined the flight data. I'm extremely concerned that this didn't appear on AirMap - has anyone else ever experienced this? Is there a way to double-check flight space besides AirMap?

The first image is from AirMap that shows everything green, the second image is from my flight record.

That's just a DJI GEO warning zone for KGYR on the extended runway centerline:

AirMap is correct that you were outside the KGYR surface Class D airspace, and so flight is legal. All you need to do is acknowledge the warning in the DJI app and you can take off.
