Connect RC to a replacement drone

I received a replacement drone today and I am trying to connect it to the original RC of the crashed drone. It does not connect I switch on the Air, I switch on the remote. I press the connect button of the Air until I hear one beep and then try to connect via the app. The counter counts down to zero while the RC is beeping. Then nothing...any ideas`?

Try the longer 2 beep disconnect and 3 beep reset

Thank you, I used the pairing Feature in the Remote Controller Menü of the DJI Go 4 App in Camera Mode. That worked as welll.
