Connecting DJI RC to a cellphone

Today I received my brand new Mini 3 Pro.
I'm having trouble connecting the new RC to my cellphone so that I can fly it FPV (I'm using the DroneMask).

I'm used to flying FPV on my old Mavic Pro (gen 1).

Is this at all possible or will I be forced to buy the (inferior) RC-N1?

I presume you have the "DJI RC" with the built in screen? This currently doesn't seem to have a way to share the video feed to an external screen or other device.

I think you need the RC N1 to do what you're after.
