Hi, Ive been using my mini for a couple of months without any problems. However, this morning when I went to fly it it, the 4 white leds on the controller and flashing simutaneously and it wont connect to the drone. I've rest my phone, controller and drone - even unlocked an enhanced no-fly area near me but it's still the same - $ flashing LEDs on the controller and no connection to the drone.
Can anyone help please?

TIA.

You should be able to rebind the drone and the controller. I know it's there, I've seen it. I just can't remember off the top of my head where it is in the settings. I'll look next time I fly.

To rebind, switch both the drone and controller on and let them boot.
Once booted press and hold the power button on one or other of them until the LEDs start flashing in a quick sequence, repeat this on the other device and move them close to one another. The phone does not need to be connected for this method.
The other method is switch the controller and drone on, connect the phone to the controller and boot the app then via the 3dot menu -> control -> scroll down and press "connect to Aircraft". Then press and hold the power button on the drone until you get the sequential LEDs, bring the drone and controller close to one another

Done both methods repeatedly and it's not binding at all. The drone is only three months old so if I cant find the answer to this problem then I'll send it back under warrenty. The 4 controler LEDs are flashing together continuosly and the app is showing that the controller is connected but there's still no connection to the aircraft.
I'm in an enhanced zone which I've unlocked so I'll move it out and away tomorrow and try again.

What exactly is the message you are seeing in the app regarding connection?
If you open the fly app and go into the about menu can you see the firmware version on the controller?
What colour and flash pattern does the LED on the rear of the drone have?

1) Aircraft not connected.
2) Firmware version of the controller is 1.000.0500
3)The LEDs on the aircraft are red and green alternating

Uum is that meant to mean you tried it and it worked?
If so, cool :D, however it would be better to place your comment out side the quote

Well here's my take on it...

When the four white LEDs on the RC flash repeatedly together and the RC can't/won't connect to the aircraft then the solution is to remove the SD card, erase or delete the info on it and re-insert it again and the drone should connect.

Perhaps not completely accurate, the thing that led me to that solution, was it a solution?, was the colour and flash pattern on the drone's LED......so that and the inability to link the drone and controller is perhaps more accurate.

Well it is accurate because it solved the problem. There were 2 indications that there was a problem;
1) The red/green flashing led on the drone
and
2) The four LEDs on the controller fashing simultaneously.

I didn't know how to solve the problem but I do now and I hope that this helps others reading it.

I am not being pernickety but multiple simultaneously flashing LEDs on the controller is the normal response of the controller to no connection with the drone. I find the actual number of LEDs involved in the flashing is indicative of the level of charge in the controller's battery.

With 4 LEDs involved in the flashing I am assuming that your controller was fully charged, if that is correct then their actual flashing is not really a diagnostic tool other than indicating there was no connection.
If your controller's battery was not fully charged then yes, " four LEDs on the controller fashing simultaneously " may be significant.

A point I should have perhaps rasied earlier is that the drone's normal response to no connection with the controller is a fast flashing yellow LED, hence the significance of the red and green.
