Connection Using Samsung A5 2017

Hi I have been flying mavic pro with the above phone for 8 months now. Has been perfect. I tried to fly yesterday and the phone will not connect to the app - message disconnected. I have uninstalled the app - I have tried using the USB cable at the bottom and get nothing - making sure I have remove the side connections. I am using version v4 2.21 of the app. Getting very frustrated now and not sure what to do next. I have tried connecting in all different sequences but still nothing. Can anyone help me please? Thanking you in advance. Neil
 
Can you try a different device to isolate the problem to the phone?
I have now tried with iPhone and still the same issue - all linked up - green lights flashing but no image on the iPhone screen.....saying disconnected ....help please
 
It could be your cable.
Having the same issue with an iPhone cable to iPhone.... this is brand new - on another phone
Have also used a usb cable to the phone from bottom of controller with other cable from side removed..
