I'm thinking of acquiring another drone, and looking at the Mavic 4 Pro. After I pass the part 107 soon, I want to get into mapping, or use it some way professionally as a side business. Maybe some videography gigs. I currently have a Mini 5 Pro and an Air 3. Would the Mavic be overkill with what I currently have, particularly the Air 3 or would I need something better than the Air 3 for professional work? I got the mini for travel and portability mostly as I want to hopefully travel with it.

What kind of professional work might require you to have the Mavic 4 Pro in addition to these?

Welcome to the Forum From Bakersfield.
I will only ask 1 question. Can you aquire the parts for your new Drone and repair it yourself? if the answer is yes then I would tell you..The Mavic 4 is a great Drone and you can't beat it for 107 work.
If your answer is NO I would tell you ..Its not really a good idea. My 2 cents......

Buy it.BUT From a reputable dealer or Person Preferably a person that can give you specific answers and people to talk to if you have any service problems..They are great Drones but if you are going to spend that kind of money at the moment It would behoove you to check all your boxes...Just sayin.

If you buy a drone from the DJI store in NYC (Camrise) they will "warrant" your drone for one year but the catch is you have to buy the drone in person at the store. Right now they may not have your drone in stock but you can call to check.
