Contemplating New iPad 9.7...

I use the 2017 model of that ipad (which has a smaller chip in it) with Inspire Pro and Mavic PP and have had no problems at all with it ! The new one should serve you well.

Both of my iPad Minis are only 16 GB. I still have plenty of space left on both of them. Unless you're going to also use your iPad for others apps that require lots of storage space, that will be plenty of space for DJI GO.

I have been reading about Iphone/ipad external storage devices. I have never really needed more the 32GB BUT might be handy for holding movies and stuff to entertain myself while traveling.

I just purchased a Passport Wireless 2TB to download and store video/pics. Downloads automatically when you insert your SD card. You can share with anyone near with it's own wireless network. Love it [emoji6]

I use the Asus ZenPad 3S 10 - its half the price of an iPad and has built in GPS.
