Hello all, new member here, been reading posts for awhile, thought I signed up long ago, but I guess not. I have a DJI Mavic Pro 2 and the controller just started to lose charge very quickly. Ids there a comparable controller I can use with a built in screen?

Don't know what your physical setup is but I have an external battery/phone type that can plug into to mini USB on the left side of the controller.

RM-500 Smart Controller works great with the Mavic 2 series. That's the original Smart Controller and has been around a long time as well.

I don't think DJI has ever carried them (they'd rather you pay for something new). But if you google "dji mavic 2 controller battery" you should find links to sellers on ebay and other places, and you'll also get hits for "how to replace" videos.

It's the controller that you put your phone in.

Used Mavic 2's since 2019. The original controller you put your phone in is the RC1-A or RC1-B. The RM500 is the only 'smart' controller that will work with the mav 2. It has the built-in screen.
